Policy Advocacy Activities

KoBE and USIDC participated in national and local business policy discussions and domestic and international commerce promotion with decision makers from the U.S. Department of Commerce and of Transportation, U.S. Export-Import Bank, Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, Baltimore Sister City Committee, and more. We also regularly met with legislators and Congress members to make sure your voice is heard for policy- or law-making relevant to you representing our business and minority community.

New Year, New Conversations – Meeting with Policy Makers

KoBE and USIDC are actively engaged in national and local business policymaking with key players. We host and participate in conversations with U.S. Congress members, legislators, and government officials from local, state, and federal levels to make sure your voice is heard representing our minority, immigrant, and business community. As lawmakers and government representatives are inaugurated or start a new term, KoBE and USIDC have successful kickoff meetings with them to discuss policy priorities for the community such as reducing small business taxes and regulations, promoting international commerce at state and local levels, providing government resources and assistance for minority businesses and more.
